2 nights / 3 days

3-day Mathura, Vrindavan & Govardhan tour

The two-day darshan plus a full day at Govardhan and Barsana — the trip most people wish they had taken.

Day by day

  1. Day 1

    Gokul and Mathura

Pick-up, then Gokul — Gokul Dham, Raman Reti, Brahmand Ghat and Chintaharan Mahadev. In the evening, Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi, Dwarkadhish Temple and the Yamuna aarti at Vishram Ghat.

  2. Day 2

    Vrindavan

Banke Bihari early, then Radha Raman, Radha Vallabh, Rangji and ISKCON. Evening at Nidhivan and the Prem Mandir light show.

  3. Day 3

    Govardhan and Barsana

An early start for Govardhan — Danghati Temple, Mukharbind, Manasi Ganga, then Radha Kund and Shyam Kund and Kusum Sarovar. You can walk the 21 km parikrama, walk a shorter stretch, or do it by car; we plan the day around whichever you choose. Afternoon at Barsana for the Shriji (Radha Rani) Temple on the hill, then back for your drop.

  • The full Govardhan parikrama is 21 km and takes most people 5 to 7 hours on foot. There is no shame in doing it by car — plenty of devotees do, and we will arrange whichever you want.
  • Barsana's Radha Rani temple sits at the top of about 200 steps. Tell us if that is a problem and we will plan around it.

Questions we get asked

How long does Govardhan parikrama take?
The full circuit is 21 km — 5 to 7 hours walking at a steady pace, longer if you stop. By car it is about 2 hours including darshan stops.
Can we do the parikrama barefoot?
Many do. Start before sunrise so the road is cool, and carry water. We will have the car shadow you so you can stop whenever you need to.
