Vrinda Aura
A Vrindavan lane at dusk, people walking beneath an old gateway arch

जय श्री कृष्ण

We live here. That is the whole of it.

We are a family in Gokul, forty minutes from Vrindavan and fifteen from Mathura Junction. We arrange darshan, parikrama, stays, cars and puja across Braj — and when something goes wrong at ten at night, we are the ones who drive over.

What we actually do

Four things, and we would rather do them properly than add a fifth. We plan and run yatras across Braj — Mathura, Vrindavan, Gokul, Govardhan, Barsana and Nandgaon — from a single afternoon up to the full 84 Kos parikrama. We book rooms, in places we have walked into ourselves. We run the cars, from a Dzire up to a twenty-seven-seat bus, with our own drivers. And we arrange puja and seva with the tirth purohits who have done this work here for generations.

Most of our work comes from families who were sent to us by families we took last year. That is a slower way to grow a business than buying clicks, and it is the reason we will tell you not to walk the parikrama if we think you should not.

How we work

  • We tell you the awkward things

Banke Bihari at 6 pm on a Saturday in Kartik is overwhelming. The Govardhan parikrama is 21 km and not everyone should walk it. Holi at Barsana is joyful and genuinely rough in a crowd. We would rather say so before you book than after.

  • A real price, quickly

One number, what it covers, what it does not. No slashed fake discounts and no “50% off” on a price nobody ever paid. If we cannot quote until we know your dates, we will say that instead of guessing.

  • The same people, start to finish

You get the driver's name and number the day before you travel. During the trip there is one number that is answered, and it is ours.

  • Elders and children planned for

Wheelchair access where it exists, the parikrama by car, a palanquin arranged at Barsana before you arrive rather than negotiated at the bottom of the steps, and rest built into the day rather than squeezed out of it.

  • Pure vegetarian, and Jain on request

Meals as per the itinerary. Tell us in advance if you need Jain, no onion and garlic, or a regional preference, and we will tell the kitchen rather than hoping.

What we will not do

  • — Sell you a VIP darshan pass at Banke Bihari. There is no official scheme, and anyone offering one outside the temple is selling you nothing.
  • — Put a countdown timer on a page or tell you two seats are left. You are planning a pilgrimage, often for your parents. That is not a moment for pressure.
  • — Publish a review we wrote ourselves, or a star rating with no reviews behind it.
  • — Book you into a hotel we have not stayed in or sent a family to.
  • — Add a charge at the end that was not in the quote.

On the name

You may have found us as Vrinda Aura, as Mathura Vrindavan Trip, or through the phone number passed on by somebody you know. It is all the same family and the same number. If you have a quote from us under one name and a question under another, just call — we will know.
